The China International Furniture Exhibition (also known as Shanghai Furniture Fair) was first held in 1993 by the China National Furniture Association and Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co., Ltd. Since then, the fair has taken place annually in Shanghai during the second week of September.
